In construction machinery operations, the safety of heavy equipment such as cranes, pump trucks, and hoists is always a core priority. The outriggers of heavy machinery bear concentrated pressure;The ordinary wooden pads are prone to cracking, deforming and corrosion. They are highly likely to cause safety hazards such as ground collapse, equipment tilting and vehicle rollover during operations.

The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) leg pads, with their outstanding features of extremely high load-bearing capacity, excellent wear resistance and durability, as well as light weight and high durability, have completely replaced traditional pads and become the standard safety equipment for infrastructure projects, municipal construction, and outdoor operations, ensuring the stable operation of various heavy construction machinery.

Our outrigger pads boast compressive strengths of 50-100 MPa and impact strength of ≥120 kJ/m² for simply supported beams. A single pad can handle static loads ranging from 10 to 200 tons.

For equipment operating under concentrated pressure, such as 40-ton conventional pump trucks and 100-ton large cranes, the pads quickly and evenly distribute the point pressure from the outriggers to the ground, significantly reducing pressure per unit area. Even under heavy loads, dynamic impacts, and repeated pressure conditions, the pads remain resistant to bending, cracking, plastic deformation, and collapse, preventing equipment tilting and collapse accidents caused by pad damage.

Polyethylene crane outrigger pads have excellent resistance to high & low temperatures, corrosion, and aging. They maintain stable performance in extreme environments ranging from -40℃ to 80℃, and are not afraid of rain and snow immersion, acid and alkali corrosion, or sand and gravel abrasion. Their service life is 5-8 times that of wooden pads, and they do not need to be replaced frequently for long-term outdoor operations, which greatly reduces the cost of construction materials.

Compared to traditional support plates, polyethylene support plates have significant advantages: they are lightweight, weighing only 1/7 of steel support plates, allowing for easy manual handling and placement, saving labor costs; the non-slip textured surface ensures a tight fit between the support legs, preventing slippage during operation; they are waterproof, moisture-proof, rot-proof, and rust-free, requiring no special storage or maintenance; and they offer excellent value for money, as a single purchase can be reused for a long time, significantly reducing the budget for engineering consumables.
